Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Speak Wonder's website (speakwonder.com) or mobile application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Speak Wonder is an AI-powered speech practice companion designed for children ages 3–8, used under parental supervision. The app provides interactive exercises to help children practice speech sounds through play-based activities.

Important: Speak Wonder is not a medical device, does not provide speech therapy, and is not a substitute for professional evaluation by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• The app is intended for use by children ages 3–8 under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian.
• By creating an account, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child using the app.

Subscription Terms

Free Tier

• Access to limited speech practice features at no cost.
• No credit card required.
• Available indefinitely.

Premium Subscription

• Price: $7.99 per month
• Free trial: 7-day free trial for new subscribers
• Billing: Charged monthly through the Apple App Store
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their App Store refund policy

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
2. Tap your name → Subscriptions
3. Select Speak Wonder
4. Tap Cancel Subscription

Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the Free tier.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
• Collect information about other users without consent
• Use the Service in any way that could harm children

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, audio, and software — are the property of Speak Wonder and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Speak Wonder does not guarantee any specific speech improvement outcomes. Results vary by child and depend on many factors including consistency of practice, individual development, and other interventions.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPEAK WONDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
